Mike Tyson Needs Rehab Not Jail

PHOENIX,Arizona.- Former heavyweight world champion Mike Tyson could be facing jail again after pleading guilty to a charge of drug possession. Tyson, 41, also entered a guilty plea to driving under the influence.

Tyson could could be looking at 4 years in prison for the felony drug possession plus additional time for the DUI.

Tyson was arrested in Scottsdale, Arizona last year after almost smashing into a police cruiser.Three bags of cocaine were found in his car and Tyson admitted using marijuana and cocaine.

#140 Now should I do like everyone else and bring up his boxing history as I write this blog? Nah. #141 That would make this like everyone else's article now wouldn't it? We all know about Robin Givens And Holyfield. #142 I want to know what kind of programs can be created to help the Britney Spears and Todd Bridges of the world? #143 Should Robert Downey Jr. be the only one who can be shown any sympathy when they have a breakdown?

Anyways, Tyson was released from jail without bond on Friday and has openly admitted having a cocaine problem, so under the terms of his release, he must submit a drug and alcohol test.

Although he has had some issues in the past, Tyson is still a man with a problem and it is up to us as a society to help him like we would anyone else.
